In Kursk region over 100 residential buildings damaged due to attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces

In recent days, as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region, more than 90 private homes and 20 apartment buildings have been damaged. This was reported by the acting chairman of the regional government, Alexey Dedov, during a meeting of the regional government.

According to Dedov, damage of varying degrees was recorded in 93 private homes and 21 apartment buildings. The main damage was caused to window units, roofs and facades. He noted that regional authorities are actively engaged in the restoration of destroyed objects.

"During the week, we managed to replace 194 window units out of 831 damaged ones. Roofs were also restored in 10 private houses and 3 apartment buildings. The work continues: roofs in 2 apartment buildings and 12 private houses remain to be repaired. We plan to complete the repairs by the end of the month.", — the head of the regional government emphasized.

The Kursk Region authorities are conducting operational work to assess the damage and restore facilities. To speed up the repair process, additional construction crews have been brought in, and funds from the reserve fund are being used. Dedov emphasized that the priority is to ensure safe and comfortable living conditions for the affected residents.

The shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has caused serious concern among residents of border areas.
