In the Leningrad region, a conscript fled from a military unit across the border to Latvia

A Russian conscript fled to Latvia, crossing the border and surrendering to the military.

An emergency occurred in one of the military units of the Leningrad region. According to Baza journalists, the conscript left the military unit, deserting to neighboring Latvia. It is noteworthy that the disappearance of a military serviceman was not even paid attention - his disappearance was noticed already when the serviceman was already in the territory of Latvia and testified about the reasons for his illegal movement across the border.

Journalists report that the escape of the "conscript" was also prepared by other people who provided him with clothes for free movement to the border. Due to the lack of a passport, the serviceman had to climb over the barbed wire fence on his own.

“In the Leningrad region, a conscript escaped from a military unit, crossed the border to Latvia, and eventually received a permanent residence permit there. He really did not want to get to the NWO. 22-year-old Yegor (name changed - approx.) was not going to go there and therefore found some “sympathetic people” on the Internet who helped him develop an escape plan. A few days later, he slipped through the window of the barracks and in short dashes got out of his unit near Vyborg. Oddly enough, at first they didn’t notice the disappearance of the conscript, and then they decided that he had gone somewhere “AWOL”. But later, Yegor, already from Latvia, contacted his mother himself and told her everything. However, Yegor does not intend to return to his homeland: he said that he had recently received permanent residence and now he is intensively studying Latvian and English in order to enter the university., - the journalists of "Base" report.

Who exactly are the “sympathetic people” and whether the escaped soldier had some secret information is not reported, and there are no clarifications on how the soldier managed to go unnoticed for several hours for his command.
