At the airport in London made an emergency landing of a passenger aircraft due to engine ignition.

On board the aircraft that carried out a regular flight from Jersey to London was 28 passengers. The incident occurred immediately when the aircraft reached the airport of its destination, however, despite the danger of landing the aircraft on one working engine, the pilots were able to land an airliner without injuring passengers.

After the aircraft landed, the fire brigade handled the aircraft’s ignited engine with a special compound, however this was an 4 measure of preventive measures, since the automatic fire extinguishing system of the aircraft coped with this.

The reasons for the current emergency are being investigated.
