An emergency happened with an airplane flying from Magadan to Mirny. It is noted that during the dispersal of the aircraft, it rolled out for the side dimensions of the runway, which created an emergency situation. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, and the aircraft, despite the fact that it received some damage, did not catch fire.

Currently, investigative and operational measures are being conducted at the site of the incident, the purpose of which is to establish the causes of what happened. According to some reports, the An-26 cargo plane was pulled out of the runway due to a strong side wind, however this information is checked.

Currently, Magadan airport operates normally, and all scheduled flights are performed according to a previously planned timetable.
