June 1st. As a result of a helicopter crash in the Murmansk region Mi-8 with senior officials on board were killed 15 people.

One of the most likely causes of the crash was poor visibility, and therefore the helicopter pilot did not see its approach to the ground, and the helicopter crashed. However, it is still not possible to clarify the actual number of people aboard - according to some people there were 19 people, but later information appeared that there were 17 people on board the aircraft. These data are specified, and the search and rescue operation continues.  

It is known that two passengers survived and currently located in a local hospital. Their names are not known.
