In New Zealand crashed light plane

March 23rd. In the northeast of New Zealand, a light single-engine Tomahawk PA38 aircraft crashed, with two people on board - a pilot and a passenger.

The tragedy involving the aircraft took place about 11 hours local time, when the plane was flying over the Ngaguro River located on the east coast of the island. The reason for the crash is the version of the aircraft's technical malfunction, since there was an experienced and qualified British pilot at the helm, and the weather was favorable.

The collapse of the single-engine plane took place in 12 kilometers from the airport, but since unscheduled flight to find the crash site was only a few hours later.
