Lightning strikes Finnair passenger airliner

The plane of the Finnish airline, traveling from Amsterdam to Helsinki, was struck by lightning.

As it became known to Avia.pro directly from one of the passengers, an electric shock struck the plane, however, none of the people on board were injured. No visual damage was caused to the plane, however, immediately after landing at the airport in the capital of Finland, it was sent to a more thorough technical inspection to identify possible damage in the systems.

Lightning rarely gets into the aircraft, but often any consequences can be avoided due to special protection systems provided for passenger airliners.
