In the Moscow region, a lieutenant colonel beat up S-400 air defense system operators - they were hospitalized

A scandal erupted in the Moscow region: two servicemen, operators of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), were hospitalized after being beaten by an officer. Both fighters claim that the officer, Lieutenant Colonel Zhiltsov, used physical violence against them, forcing them to stand on bent legs and beating them on the head with an iron stick. This information is provided by Mash.

The incident occurred at the command post of the anti-aircraft missile forces in the Odintsovo region. According to information from a Mash source, Lieutenant Colonel Zhiltsov decided that his subordinates were not performing their duties properly. In a fit of rage, he attacked a private, an air defense system driver-operator, forcing him to stand on bent legs for 20 minutes, and then beat him with an iron stick. At that moment, there was another private nearby, who was also attacked by the officer. Instead of a stick, Zhiltsov used the butt of his service weapon.

Both victims were taken to hospital with soft tissue bruises. Doctors diagnosed one of them with a closed craniocerebral injury. Military investigative authorities immediately responded to the incident by opening a criminal case against Lieutenant Colonel Zhiltsov under the article of abuse of official powers.
