At the Ramensky military registration and enlistment office in the Moscow region, an incident occurred involving 32-year-old military man Alexander M., who, according to “Base,” blew up an airsoft grenade. The incident happened when Alexander arrived at the military registration and enlistment office on Guryev Street to extend his sick leave. He was wounded in March 2024 during a SVO (special military operation).
According to Baza sources, something went wrong and the man took an airsoft grenade out of his pocket, exploding it in the lobby of the military registration and enlistment office. Eyewitnesses claim that Alexander was intoxicated. Despite the fact that the airsoft grenade does not pose a real threat to life, the explosion caused panic among employees and visitors to the military registration and enlistment office.
Law enforcement officers quickly arrived at the scene and the man was detained. He was taken to the police department for further proceedings. An investigation is currently underway to clarify all the circumstances of the incident and the motives for the military’s actions.
Military registration and enlistment office employees and witnesses to the incident gave statements to the police. At this time, there have been no reports of casualties.
