16 December 2013. Double aircraft crashed off the coast of Australia (South Stradbrok Island, Queensland). On board was the pilot of the vessel and the passenger who were missing. The vessel, owned by the company Tiger Moth Joy Rides, fell into the ocean at 400 meters from the shore. Fall time - 12: 30 (17: 30 MSK).

The crashed plane was found by rescuers flying over the shores of the islands.

According to the rescuers, the pilot and passenger died as a result of flooding the vessel. However, there is a possibility that they were able to get out of the plane and reach the coast with the help of improvised non-sinking means.
