Dmitry Rogozin proposes to change the rules for the procurement of foreign aircraft.

A similar proposal was voiced by Dmitry Rogozin on the grounds that the Russian budget and the domestic aviation industry each year lose about a billion dollars, while domestic aircraft builders create high-quality aircraft capable of comparing and even surpassing foreign-made aircraft. In fact, the proposal made will seriously help the domestic aircraft industry, however, this is by no means shared by the airlines, who still prefer to use the time-tested Airbus and Boeing airliners.

It is expected that the first decisions on this issue will be taken before the end of the year.
