Rosaviatsia intends to return mandatory certification of airports.

This is primarily due to the fact that at the moment there is no clear definition of how many check-in counters, placards, etc. should be present on the air harbor territory. Moreover, not all air harbors in the Russian Federation are provided with a sufficient amount of airfield equipment. In particular, the Khrabrovo airport is an example of this, where, as a result of rolling out Aeroflot aircraft, the airport’s work was paralyzed for a long period of time.

Experts do not exclude that mandatory certification of airports in Russia may appear as early as next year.
