In Russia, the start of the development of the strategic bomber "PAK DA".

The official body of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that work began in Russia related to the development of a new strategic bomber-missile carrier PAK DA. Given the beginning of work, experts believe that the Ministry of Defense finally approved the concept of the aircraft.

“Due to the modernization of the strategic missile-carriers Tu-160М and Tu-95MS, the recovery of the production of the Tu-160М aircraft increases the air component of the SNF. In addition, the development of a promising long-range aviation aviation complex has begun. ”, - informs the edition "the Red star", referring to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

To date, almost nothing is known about the PAK DA project, however, given the unofficial data, we can say that the newest Russian bomber-rocket carrier will be almost half the size of the Russian Tu-160, its flight speed will be limited to 950 km / h, and will be driven by artificial intelligence. It is assumed that in the near future the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will present a conceptual version of the newest Russian bomber.

According to experts, the newest strategic bomber-missile carrier of the PAK DA project will appear in the arsenal of Russia not earlier than the third decade.
