A fatal incident occurred in Sevastopol: a car driving along Tarasa Shevchenko Street suddenly exploded, presumably due to an explosive device. The explosion occurred right on the road, which led to the death of the driver. Eyewitnesses to the incident tried to provide him with first aid, pulling him out of the damaged car and handing him over to doctors, but the injuries were incompatible with life.
Witnesses of the explosion noted that a hole had formed under the bottom of the car, which may indicate a purposefully planted explosive device (IED). At the moment, investigative bodies are checking all the circumstances of the incident, trying to establish who could have been involved in planting the IED and clarifying possible motives.
