At the airport of Stornoway, the airplane blew off the runway with a powerful gust of wind.

The incident occurred around 8 local time with a small commercial airline FlyBe, intending to fly to Glasgow. It is reported that as a result of the incident no one was injured, and the airport employees had already liquidated the consequences of the incident.

It was learned that the emergency had happened because of the strong wind, but the aircraft itself has not received severe damage, although in need of repair.
