Latvia announced its readiness to close the border with Russia in the event of a second partial mobilization.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia, Markus Kuchinskis, said that the country's authorities completely block the border with Russia in the event of a second partial mobilization on the territory of the country. According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia, Markus Kuchinskis, Riga has already decided to refuse to allow citizens of the Russian Federation to enter the country, including those who try to avoid mobilization measures.

“If the second wave of mobilization begins in Russia, Latvia will not let a single Russian fleeing mobilization into the country”, - said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia, Markus Kuchinskis.

For obvious reasons, at the moment we are not talking about a new wave of partial mobilization and such a decision is not even discussed at the moment, at least officially, in connection with which the statement of the head of the Latvian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Markus Kuchinskis, was made without any real and objective then the reasons.

For what exact reasons Latvia intends to close the border with Russia is unknown, since Kuchinskis did not make any explanations on this matter.
