In the United States tested a missile previously banned by the INF Treaty

The United States reported on the successful test of a missile previously banned by the INF Treaty.

According to the data at the disposal of the resource Avia.pro, the US Department of Defense has successfully tested a missile that was previously banned by the current INF Treaty. According to experts, the United States could not develop, create and test a missile in just 2,5 weeks, which indicates the fact that Washington violated the Treaty even before its official withdrawal.

At the moment, relatively little is known about the launch. According to official data, the rocket was able to successfully cover a distance of 500 kilometers and hit a ground target outside this range. It is also reported that the missile was launched by the same type of installations that are located in Europe, which, obviously, indicates that Washington has abandoned its obligations to deploy missiles near the borders of Russia.

In fact, such actions on the part of the United States allow Russia to completely expand the range of existing missiles, previously covered by the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, and deploy them near its borders.

At the moment, Russia has not reacted to the tests of the latest American missile, however, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia is withdrawing from the INF Treaty unilaterally.
