In the United States announced the creation of hypersonic weapons.

The American company Raytheon announced the completion of the development of the engine for the hypersonic DeepStrike rocket, which allows it to be prepared for the start of state tests to be held at the end of this year. The latest technology is supposed to be used in tactical missile systems and multiple rocket launchers (MLRS) with the aim of defeating the enemy’s air defense assets and its strategic targets.

At the moment it is known that the rocket itself began to be developed relatively recently - in the 2017 year, but any of its characteristics were not disclosed. Nevertheless, according to analysts, if the United States really managed to create a hypersonic rocket, then its flight speed will be at the threshold value.

According to the American company Raytheon, the newest missile can hit targets at distances up to 500 kilometers, but analysts believe that, in reality, the missile’s range can be on the order of 800 kilometers, since otherwise, the effectiveness of using such missiles is significantly reduced.
