The B-52 transferred to Great Britain on the same days, had the callsign CLIP91. This means that the United States has transferred six nuclear bombers to the British base Fairford.

One of the B-52H Stratofortress bombers on the eve was spotted near the Russian border over the Baltic Sea near the Kaliningrad region. As follows from the data of specialized resources, an imitation of the bombing of the Russian fleet was carried out by plane.

The report of the Ministry of Defense of Russia states that B-52 flew over the neutral waters of the Baltic. It did not approach the Russian border in less than 150 kilometers. Being taken to escort by the Russian air defense, the plane immediately turned around.
