An American expert proposes a blockade of Venezuela, repeating the "Caribbean crisis."

According to the American economic expert, investment director of TrendMacro, Donald Laskin, who aired on Fox News, Venezuela’s losses against PDVSA reached 20 billions. The way out is a repetition of the “Caribbean crisis”, the United States must ensure one hundred percent blockade of this Latin American country and not allow Russia to save Nicolas Maduro.

The place “where we can clash with Russia” Laskin calls international waters. The repetition of the 1962 Caribbean crisis of the year is not only bank fines, but also a real blockade. Along the coast of Venezuela it is necessary to place American ships and say “Nothing will pass, neither there nor back”- says the expert.

The situation in Venezuela, he compares with "Geopolitical chess game". In it, America deprives the country of finances for the overthrow of Maduro, Russia is “plugging holes with money”.

American sanctions against Venezuela prohibit banks located in other countries from conducting operations with the country. Otherwise, they will be imposed a perpetual ban on doing business in the United States. At the same time, Russia simply does not take sanctions into account.

With particular indignation, Laskin speaks of the establishment by the Russians of a special bank, invulnerable to American sanctions. Even under the condition that the United States imposes special sanctions against this bank, threatening it with a ban on doing business with America, the Russians will simply reply: "We do not care, you and so enemies!", - the expert is indignant.

With respect to PDVSA, the United States imposed January 28 sanctions. The company's assets are locked at seven billion dollars, transactions with the company are prohibited. Nicholas Maduro said that all those who will be recognized by the appointment in the oil company "Citgo" (a division of the Venezuelan "PDVSA" in the United States) made by the head of the country, Juan Guaydo, who proclaimed himself, will be brought to justice through the courts.

The interim president of Guaydo declared himself 23 January. A number of countries, primarily the United States, have made statements recognizing Guaydo as the head of Venezuela, demanding that Maduro not allow violent action against the opposition. Maduro declared Guaydo a "puppet of the United States." A number of countries, including Russia and China, supported Venezuelan President Maduro as the legitimate head of state.
