In the US state of South Carolina, when making an emergency landing of small-engine aircraft, one person was killed.

As it became known to the news agency Avia.pro, the pilot of the aircraft told the air traffic controller that the aircraft had refused the engine, and he intends to make an emergency landing on the current terrain. Approximately in 5 minutes the communication with the pilot of the light-engine aircraft was interrupted. Rescuers left for the alleged crash site of the aircraft, and they found that the plane had made a landing on a small pond, however, it turned out that when a water hit, the pilot died, hitting, at first guess, his head on the windshield.
