The Pentagon notes that missile defense systems, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, target missiles and Mk-41 installations do not violate the Treaty on the Elimination of Medium-Range and Short-Range Missiles, while the United States offers Russia to initially fulfill the conditions associated with the destruction of the created 9M729 ballistic missiles. without having any evidence that the missile really violates the INF Treaty.

According to experts, we are talking about the final break of the Treaty on the elimination of medium and short-range missiles, especially since both the United States and Russia have already announced the creation of weapons, the development of which could not be carried out under the INF Treaty - from the Russian side these are medium-range hypersonic missiles ground-based, and from the United States, medium-range surface-to-surface missiles.
