Parachutists crashed in Tatarstan, during a group jump

The group jump of paratroopers in Tatarstan ended in tragedy - two experienced athletes died. The state of emergency was filmed on the video cameras by other participants of the event, and now these videos are carefully examined by the investigators. In the local SC have already voiced the reason for what happened.

Menzelinsky district of Tatarstan. The aircraft board is at an altitude of 4 thousand meters. Seven paratroopers are going to perform a jump with a free fall. Men in anticipation of the dose of adrenaline. The first went, followed by the second. Nothing foretells troubles. But suddenly there are screams. As it turned out, the parachute of one of the athletes was revealed too late. He flies down with a stone, and knocks down a comrade in his path. From a strong impact in a collision in the air, both paratroopers lose consciousness.

The lines get tangled, and there is little to the ground, the landing is hard. The rest of the parachutists, who have landed safely, run to help the injured. The athletes who fell from a great height were seriously injured. They are urgently sent to the hospital. But they failed to save the men. Rushan Sibgatullin, a 34-year-old resident of Kazan, died in an ambulance, and Oleg Shchelkanov, a 47-year-old native of Naberezhnye Chelny, died in the intensive care unit. They were both experienced skydivers. Everyone has over 600 jumps. An analysis of their social media pages allows us to understand that for Oleg and Rushan, parachuting was a favorite hobby.

Judging by their pages in social networks, where there are many photographs, and for Rushan and Oleg parachuting was a very serious and favorite hobby in life.

"Employees of the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Tatarstan have begun to check all the circumstances of the incident and, according to its results,, - said Andrey Sheptytsky, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Directorate of the ICR in the Republic of Tatarstan.

As you know, jumping with a parachute is an extreme occupation. However, according to experts, it should not become an insane, life-threatening attraction. At the same time, people who are engaged in it, in recent times increasingly become its victims.

In early May, the standard training in the flying club of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug ended in tragedy - the trainer was killed, and the 15-year-old schoolgirl suffered severe injuries.

"In the criminal case, at the present time, operative-search activities are carried out, documentation is withdrawn, forensic medical examination is appointed" - said Dmitry Lebedev, a senior assistant to the head of the Ural SU on transport of the SC of Russia.

A similar criminal case was instituted in the Tver Region. There, too, a minor paratrooper died. Unfortunately, there are many similar cases in the country.

Experienced instructor of parachute sport from Moscow Pavel Putilin argues that the cause of all such tragedies lies in the violation of security measures. Preparing for the landing is not an easy job, which is done by the whole team. The life of an athlete depends on the smallest details of the work of each.

"Before realizing a real jump, classes should be conducted on the model of the aircraft, a person must know his place. It is also necessary to practice skills in the air in a suspended system, if a person is not prepared, let him not jump, - says Putilin.

In the comments on the case, lawyer Sergei Shanko emphasized that in Russia jumps are performed with a parachute banned in the countries of Eastern Europe, and it is impossible to operate it without special skills.

The issue of safety is now coming to the fore, and in parachuting it is more relevant than ever. There are many airfields in the country. Control over them, according to experts, is purely conditional. And with the arrival of summer and favorable weather, the number of people wishing to steam in the sky will only increase. The main thing is that the joy of receiving thrills does not turn into sadness.

According to friends, Rushan Sibgatullin and Oleg Shchelkanov eagerly waited for 19 May. They wanted to make new figures in the air. None of them even thought that this leap would be the last in their life. Farewell to paratroopers will be held 22 May.
