A passenger plane caught fire at Tiksi airport.

According to the Avia.pro resource, the An-24 passenger aircraft belonging to the carrier Polar Airlines, when the flight from Yakutsk was completed, unexpectedly caught fire during taxiing. It is reported that the aircraft ignited the right engine, however, the causes and circumstances of this incident have not yet been officially commented.

It is reported that on board the fire of the aircraft was at least 31 people (without crew members - approx. Ed.), However, due to timely measures taken, none of them was hurt.

On the fact of the incident, experts have already begun to conduct an investigation, the results of which are likely to be submitted by the end of this week.
