Indian customs officers discovered in the airplane toilet four gold bars.

On March 18, 2018, customs officials at Magalur International Airport, while inspecting the aircraft, accidentally found four gold bars in the toilet of a passenger airliner. Experts have estimated the discovered four kilograms of gold (the weight of each ingot was 1 kilogram - editor's note) at 200 thousand dollars, and at the moment they are trying to identify the person, or a group of persons involved in the smuggling of precious metals.

It should be clarified that the gold hidden in the toilet of a passenger airliner flying from Dubai was most likely intended for the courier, and it is important to consider that such a case is far from the only one, and gold smuggling in India is very often observed.

Specialists note that Indian customs officers aroused suspicion that one of the facing surfaces in the cockpit of the toilet of the plane was displaced, and therefore it was decided to carry out an inspection.
