Emergency plane landing

Ukhta emergency landing passenger plane

At the airport, Ukhta, the passenger airliner Yak-42 made an emergency landing.

The plane made a forced landing due to flap problems, but before the emergency landing, the aircraft was circling for another three hours in the immediate vicinity of the airport. On board the aircraft were 77 people, of which 69 passengers and 8 crew members, but the landing was without excesses, and none of the people were injured.

Upon the incident, a technical check of the aircraft's condition is carried out, but most likely the passengers will be sent on a reserve aircraft, since it may take a considerable amount of time to establish the reasons.
