In fact, the Ukrainian transport aircraft was presented to a wide public attention for quite some time, however, this version of the aircraft is made without the use of Russian components, which makes the production of aircraft of this model, virtually independent of the Russian aircraft manufacturers.

However, experts point out that the rejection of the use of Russian components in the production of transport aircraft AN-132 led to a strong rise in the cost of the aircraft, and although the project still can recoup itself, experts doubt the effectiveness of the use of the western parts.
