Japan lost the F-2 fighter-bomber over the sea.

Japanese sources reported that the Mitsubishi F-2 fighter-bomber disappeared from radar screens. This aircraft is part of one of the squadrons of the country's self-defense air forces. From media reports it follows that communication with the aircraft ceased at the time when he was carrying out a planned flight over the Sea of ​​Japan.

Mitsubishi F-2 took off from the military base Suiki, located in Fukuoka Prefecture. The last time the pilot made contact, when the dot on the radar screen, denoting the fighter, was in the area of ​​the Yamaguchi prefecture. This place is located approximately 130 kilometers from the departure aerodrome.

What exactly happened to the plane is unknown. The military department does not give any explanations on this matter. According to the assumption of Japanese bloggers, the crash occurred due to a technical malfunction.
