Washington intends to limit the flights of Russian military aircraft over the territory of the United States.

The US authorities said that the recent ban on flights over Kaliningrad is the main reason why Russia applies measures to restrict flights of military aircraft over the territory of the country. In fact, the escalation of this conflict may lead to the fact that Russia and the United States may be determined to withdraw from the Treaty on the open sky, however, so far this is not the case.

Among other things, a number of European politicians suspect Russia of increasing military power on the border with Poland and Lithuania, since in fact this factor alone could serve as a ban on flights of US military aircraft under the Open Skies Treaty.
