Iran's Supreme Leader Orders Direct Attack on Israel

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei ordered a direct strike against Israel in response to the assassination of Hamas Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh. The New York Times reported this, citing sources in the Iranian government.

Experts note that a coordinated attack on Israel can be expected in the near future from Iran, the Lebanese group Hezbollah and other Tehran-backed organizations throughout the region. The American OSINT group, which analyzes open sources, confirms this information and predicts an escalation of the conflict.

The Iranian leadership is determined to avenge the death of Ismail Haniyeh, considering his murder a direct challenge from Israel. According to sources close to the Supreme Leader's entourage, Khamenei views this as an act of aggression requiring an immediate and tough response.

Let us recall that Ismail Haniyeh was killed as a result of an airstrike carried out on his residence in Tehran. The attack also killed one of his bodyguards. Hamas said that responsibility for this attack lies with Israel and promised to respond to this aggression.
