17 December 2013. As a result of a hard landing in Kanagawa, a United States military helicopter crashed.

The accident occurred because of technical malfunctions. The pilot, noticing that some systems were out of order, decided to land in the city of Miura, which was unsuccessful.

Four crew members were on board during the flight, two of them got injuries and bruises, all were taken to the hospital. None of the people on the ground were hurt.

The helicopter crashed near the US military base Yokosuk, which is located in China.
