Egyptian authorities confirmed the version of the attack on board the Airbus A321

The Egyptian authorities have officially recognized that a terrorist act was behind the crash of Airbus A321 in the Sinai Peninsula.

Six months have passed since the tragic accident of the Russian passenger airliner Airbus A321 in the Sinai Peninsula, despite the fact that Russian specialists officially confirmed the discovery of traces of explosives in a few weeks, the Egyptian authorities recognized the incident as a terrorist act only the day before. Nevertheless, the fact of how exactly the explosive device got on board the passenger airliner, still remains unknown. Because of the terrorist attack, the Russian government decided to ban Russian air carriers from flying to this country.

Earlier, the information portal Avia.pro reported that the resumption of passenger transportation with Egypt was to begin in February-March, but there is a suggestion that Russian airlines will be allowed to fly to Egypt only in the second half of the year.
