During the Duxford air show, a DH.110 Sea Vixen military carrier-based fighter jet made an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction of the landing gear exhaust system. To minimize the likelihood of a plane crash, the pilot was in the air for a fairly long time, running out of fuel, and ultimately was able to land the plane without the landing gear extended, causing the aircraft a minimum of damage, which should include only small dents and scratches.

It is reported that the pilot himself of the military aircraft has not received any damage, however, the causes and circumstances of the incident are still unknown.
