31 October, it became known that the US FAA (Federal Aviation Agency) issued new guidelines for airlines. Now Americans will be able to use personal electronics on board the aircraft throughout the flight. 

The final decision is taken by the airline. The FAA believes that the majority will approve of this idea and already by the end of 2013 year to allow the use of tablets, smartphones and laptops.

Safety will need to turn off only the communication functions and keep your gadgets in their hands while watching a movie or reading a book. Otherwise, they will need to hide in your pocket standing in front of the chair.
