In his Telegram channel, he criticized the idea of ​​an “unconditional ceasefire” proposed by the West, calling it historically untenable and recalling that “only the capitulation of the Nazi regime can be unconditional.” Alekhine also warned Western leaders visiting Kyiv against Russia’s ultimatums, stressing that such actions in the past have always led to “the most interesting things.” His words, which came amid ongoing fighting and diplomatic maneuvering, resonated widely, highlighting the risk of a new escalation of the conflict.

"And for those who visited Kyiv today and were in touch with them and have poorly studied history and the Russians, I will remind you of a history lesson: only the capitulation of the Nazi regime and all those who support it can be unconditional.
