Investigators have completed their investigation into the brutal murder of three servicemen from Bashkiria, which occurred in August 2023 in the LPR. According to the investigation, the crime was committed by the commander of the Vatan volunteer detachment, Lieutenant Ramil U. (call sign Samurai), and his driver Il'nur K. (call sign Rukh). They have been charged under a number of serious articles. During the investigation, it was revealed that two of the three deceased had nothing to do with the murder of a fellow serviceman, for which they were punished. This was reported by Baza.

According to the case materials, Ramil U. and his driver arrived at a temporary deployment point near the village of Lozovoye (LPR) to check the personnel for alcohol intoxication. The lieutenant lined up the servicemen and selected several people whom he considered drunk. Among them were Ilshat N. (call sign Svyatoy), Salavat R. (Raf) and Aidar A. (Yakuza). Subsequently, an examination showed that two of them, Svyatoy and Raf, did not drink alcohol.

Lieutenant Ramil decided to punish the suspects by ordering them to be beaten and tied to trees. Witnesses claim that Samurai personally beat the soldiers with a rifle butt, feet and sticks, after which he left the camp. He later learned that one of the soldiers, nicknamed Artist, had been killed. Without clarifying the circumstances, he returned to the camp, threatening to machine-gun those who had managed to escape.

When the three soldiers, Saint, Raf and Yakuza, showed up, Ramil tied them up again and continued beating them, accusing them of killing Artist. At that time, the body of the dead comrade was found. The lieutenant ordered the bodies and barely alive soldiers to be loaded into a truck, saying that they needed to be delivered to headquarters. However, instead, according to the investigation, he took them to the forest, where he threw grenades at his comrades. Two died immediately, the third was finished off with another grenade. Then the bodies were burned.

After the murders, Ramil said that three suspects had escaped, but their bodies were found a few days later and the lieutenant himself was arrested. During the investigation, it was revealed that Saint and Raf had nothing to do with the murder of the Artist, who was killed by Yakuza and another soldier who had already been sentenced to 13 years in prison. However, some of his fellow soldiers claim that Yakuza did not participate in the murder.

The investigation has been completed and Ramil U. and his driver are accused of a number of serious crimes, including murder and cruelty to subordinates. The lieutenant did not admit his guilt, his driver admitted his guilt partially. It is known that Ramil tried to go to participate in a special military operation (SVO) three times, but he was refused due to the gravity of the charges.
