Fierce fighting is raging in the Syrian capital between the Republican Guard and the National Army. Guard units have captured several strategically important areas in central Damascus, increasing their presence and influence over key facilities in the city. Particularly heavy clashes are occurring in the immediate vicinity of the Syrian Defense Ministry.

The situation in the Syrian capital remains extremely tense. At the moment, the Republican Guard is making active attempts to seize the building of the Ministry of Defense, which is one of the key strategic facilities.

Local sources report that the intensity of fighting in the city center is not decreasing, and residents are forced to take shelter in their homes to avoid being caught in the fire. Machine gun fire can be heard within a radius of several kilometers from the epicenter of the clashes, making movement around the city extremely dangerous.
