Volodin proposed to ban the activities of the International Criminal Court in Russia

Any activity of the International Criminal Court in The Hague may be banned in Russia.

Vyacheslav Volodin's proposal was prompted by the decision of the International Criminal Court in The Hague to arrest Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova. If Volodin's proposal is supported, then any activity of the International Criminal Court in Russia will be banned. Moreover, those individuals who will provide assistance and support to the ICC may also begin to bear responsibility.

Among other things, Volodin also noted that the Russian side needs to organize work to conclude bilateral agreements with friendly countries, providing for mutual refusal to cooperate and assist the International Criminal Court.

A little earlier it became known that Armenia decided to ratify the recognition of the International Criminal Court in The Hague. This now raises a number of questions as to whether Armenia will be a friendly country towards Russia, since the ratification of the document provides that Yerevan will be obliged to fulfill obligations, including the warrant issued for the arrest of Vladimir Putin.
