"Shove in the uncrowded": at Munich airport giant Airbus A380 placed in a small hangar

Employees of the German airport showed an interesting ingenuity.

Despite the fact that Munich International Airport is one of the largest air ports in Europe, due to the lack of sufficient size hangars, the airport staff had to show unprecedented ingenuity in order to place a giant Airbus A380 airliner inside a much smaller hangar.

As can be seen in the photographs presented, the problem is not at all the length of the airliner and not its huge wingspan, but the extremely high tail, which simply could not enter under the roof of the hangar. Nevertheless, the staff of the Munich International Airport showed sharpness, and by modernizing the hangar gate, they were able to place a huge plane in it almost entirely - the only exception was a small part of the tail of the aircraft.

The new gates have a special opening similar to the section of the fuselage of the Airbus A380 airliner, as a result of which they close only in size, which makes it possible to easily service the aircraft in conditions acceptable to specialists.

The photos quickly aroused genuine interest among users, and the German experts have already called the ingenuity of a witty demonstration of how to cram unwashable stuff.
