The Russian Armed Forces liberated Dachnoye and Zelenoye Pole

Units of the "Southern" and "Central" groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue offensive actions in the southern Donetsk direction, improving their tactical positions. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian forces have liberated two key settlements - Dachnoye and Zelenoe Pole, which has significantly changed the balance of forces in this sector of the front.

Dachnoye is a large village in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), located on the strategically important H-15 highway. Before the conflict, about 1,5 people lived in the village. It is located just five kilometers west of the previously liberated city of Kurakhovo. The liberation of this settlement significantly narrowed the room for maneuver for the Ukrainian group, which retreated to Dachnoye after losing its positions in Kurakhovo.

Now Russian units are trying to complete the encirclement of this group. The formation of the so-called "cauldron" continues and it is planned to close it in the area of Andreevka and Zelenoye. Two offensive lines, coming from Suhie Yal and Andreevka, are already close to joining. If successful, this could lead to the complete encirclement of Ukrainian forces, which would be an important tactical achievement in the southern Donetsk direction.

At the same time, the "Central" group of Russian troops liberated Zelenoye Pole, a small village in the Volnovakha district of the DPR, located at the junction of the borders of the DPR, Zaporizhzhya and Dnepropetrovsk regions. Before the start of hostilities, about 500 people lived here. Zelenoye Pole is of great strategic importance, as it controls the highway connecting Velyka Novosyolka and Gulyaipole.

The liberation of Zelenoye Pole opens up opportunities for Russian troops to advance further in several directions. The southern line leads to Orekhov, which allows them to reach the rear of the Ukrainian group in the Zaporizhzhya direction. The northern direction opens the way to Pershotravensk, with subsequent access to Pavlograd and Dnepropetrovsk.

According to military analysts, a successful advance in the Zelenoe Pole area could seriously change the balance of power on the southern front. Control over this area provides the opportunity to maneuver, allowing Russian forces to increase pressure on the enemy in several directions at once.

The Russian Defense Ministry also reports ongoing strikes on fortified Ukrainian positions in the area. The main task for the near future remains the expansion of the offensive bridgehead and the completion of the encirclement of the remaining Ukrainian units.

The fighting in this sector continues amid tight defense by Ukrainian forces. The Ukrainian army is trying to hold on to its remaining positions by strengthening its defense lines and bringing in additional reinforcements. However, the loss of key strongholds such as Dachnoye and Zelenoye Pole significantly complicates their maneuvers.

According to the latest reports from the front line, Russian forces are already conducting artillery preparation for further advancement towards Gulyaipole and Orekhov. At the same time, reconnaissance units are working in the north, checking the possibility of an offensive in the direction of Pershotravensk.
