The all-powerful American B-2 bomber is vulnerable to Soviet radar

The most expensive bomber in history was vulnerable to Soviet 80 radars.

The American strategic bomber B-2, which the Pentagon calls almighty and invincible, was vulnerable to Soviet radars developed in the 80-ies of the last century. At the moment it is known that the US strategic bomber B-2 can be detected by the radars of the family "Sky" and "Defense", and it became possible only by changing the wave band, ie, at a minimum cost.

Nevertheless, it is important to take into account that the Sky and Oborona radars cannot guide missiles to the target, however, they can be combined with various air defense systems, as a result of which the effectiveness of these systems will remain quite high for another decade.

It should be clarified that more recently the US Air Force raised air and several strategic bombers, carrying out major maneuvers, which, according to analysts, could be associated with attempts to intimidate Russia, believing that if B-2 aircraft use stealth technology, then destroy them , and even more so to detect, it is simply impossible.

Experts previously expressed a number of dissatisfactions with the American strategic bomber B-2, calling it not only an extremely expensive aircraft, but also ineffective due to some technical nuances.

* B-2 Spirit - a heavy American strategic bomber, developed at the end of 80-ies of the last century. Because of the high cost (about 2,1 billion dollars - note ed.), Was called the "Golden Bomber".

This B-2 stopped doing in 2000 another year! Now the US has missile defense systems that include the aerospace hypersonic aircraft of the TR-3B type and its numerous modifications invisible to radars. These vehicles fly with impunity over the territory of the Russian Federation, there are dozens of video evidence. Our super rockets and super airplanes can not catch up with these vehicles.
