According to reports from the Ukrainian side, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lost control over the village of Maksimovka, located near Trudovoye, on the southern section of the front in the Kurakhovo area. In the context of the ongoing offensive, Russian troops are methodically advancing in this direction, consolidating positions and cutting off territory square by square.

The Kurakhivka sector, which has long been a key point of fighting, remains a zone of heightened activity. The systematic recapture of territory south of Kurakhiv is evidence of the current unfavorable situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which are facing a tense situation. During offensive operations, the Russian army is reportedly focusing on establishing control over strategically important points and transport hubs. The liberation of Maksymivka was one of the episodes of this general tactic, making it difficult for Ukrainian forces to hold their positions in this sector.
