British Air Force can remain without helicopters

The Royal British Air Force may be left without helicopters.

Such a statement was made by General Richard Felton, who says that the reduction in defense spending has an adverse effect on the air force, which means that helicopter pilots are forced to resign. In 2012, military helicopters raided more than 24 thousand hours, while in the current year this figure dropped to 9860 hours, that is, almost 2,5 times.

At the moment, there is no immediate threat to the Royal Air Force of Great Britain, however, next year, a total raid on military helicopters may amount to 9 thousand hours, which will call into question the country's defense capability.
