Air Force mistakenly intercepted the Latvian military aircraft, mistaking him for a Russian.

As representatives of the press center have noted, the plane of the Latvian Air Forces really has the Russian origin, however it is on arms of Latvia already for a long time. It is noted that two fighter-interceptors of Great Britain under the threat of using weapons forced the Latvian fighter to land at the Stansted airport in the capital.

At the moment, all details of what happened are being clarified, but the representatives of the Latvian Air Force refuse to comment on this information.
