Today Lugansk was subjected to massive shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Emergency services are already working at the site of the impact, assessing the scale of the destruction and providing assistance to the victims.

Judging by photographs and videos taken by eyewitnesses at the scene, a huge cloud of smoke rises over the city. Local residents reported detonation sounds shortly after the impact.

At the moment, it remains unknown what kind of weapon was used to strike. However, experts put forward two main versions - it could be a Storm Shadow missile or an ATACMS operational-tactical missile. Both of these missiles are highly accurate and have great destructive power, making them dangerous weapons for attacking strategic targets.
