Japan intends to acquire a large batch of American fighters F-35.

Over the next six years, the Japanese Ministry of Defense intends to sign a contract with American aircraft manufacturers to purchase 25 F-35A fighters. It is reported that the main reason for the purchase of such a large batch of combat aircraft is the need to increase the country's defensive capability, however, experts note that the combat aircraft purchased by Japan belong to the means of attack, which in turn may lead to an increase in tension in the region, in particular, earlier the authorities of the PRC announced that they are ready, following Japan, to begin the deployment of their combat aircraft near the country's borders.

Earlier, the news agency Avia.pro reported that Russia plans to deploy its combat aircraft on the islands disputed with Japan, which was met with a mass of protests from the authorities of this state.
