The explosion on the Kogalymavia airliner was arranged by the Vilayat-Sinai grouping.

Information about this sounded on the eve of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, and, as noted, this terrorist group has for a sufficiently long period of time threatens civilians in Egypt, and in the case of reaching an agreement with the Egyptian authorities, Russia is ready to render all necessary assistance in the fight with the leaders this grouping.

Nevertheless, until now, the identity of the customer of the terrorist act and its immediate executor remains unknown, over which representatives of the Russian Federation and Egypt are now working. It is possible that the terrorist act on board the Airbus A321 was made from the premises of the "Islamic State" group, however, there is currently no official confirmation of this.
