Detention of the blogger of "Thirteenth": Guzenko found to have an unknown substance

In the city of Novopavlovsk in Stavropol Krai, blogger Yegor Guzenko, known under the pseudonym "Thirteenth", was detained by law enforcement agencies during the celebration of City Day. The reason for the detention was a package with an unknown substance found in his pocket. As Baza reports, Guzenko refused to undergo an examination and an administrative case was opened against him under Article 6.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (use of narcotic drugs without a doctor's prescription). The substance found was sent for examination.

Interest in Guzenko's figure is connected not only with this incident, but also with his scandalous story of escaping from house arrest, which he himself previously told about on his Telegram channel. According to the blogger, on February 24, 2022, he was under house arrest in a criminal case initiated under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism"). The reason for initiating the case was an incident in St. Petersburg, where Guzenko caused a disturbance at a police station after he was detained for self-defense during an attack.

In March 2023, and again in September, the blogger published the story of his escape. According to his story, a few days after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, he decided to escape from house arrest, despite knowing the consequences. On the night of March 1, 2022, Guzenko cut off his electronic bracelet, packed his backpack, turned off his phone, and took a taxi from St. Petersburg to Moscow. He then hitchhiked to Crimea, crossed the border with the Kherson region, and arrived in Chernobaivka, where he joined the militia. According to him, in the village he met a local elder who gave him a captured weapon, after which Guzenko actively participated in the hostilities.

It is currently unknown whether a new criminal case will be opened in connection with the substance found or his escape. However, the case has once again drawn attention to his character and past crimes.
