Russian air carriers have tightened the rules for the implementation of charter flights.

According to the Avia.pro news agency, since December 4, Russian air carriers may be prohibited from carrying out charter flights in case they detain more than 10% of departures and arrivals within a month. An exception can only be force majeure, however, as practice shows, for this reason, less than 2% of all flights are delayed.

It should be noted that the airlines have rather firmly embraced a similar approach, however, it is aimed not at complicating the activities of the companies, but at ensuring respect for the rights of passengers, and it’s possible that starting from the new year they will be able to carry out charter flights only 3-4 carrier.
