Mysterious passenger, flying with Julia Skripal, interested in British special services

British intelligence was interested in a man who flew to London on the same flight with Julia Skripal shortly before the poisoning of the girl and her father.

A Russian citizen who flew to Heathrow airport on 3 March was in London for only a few hours, and then set off on a return flight, Daley Mail reported, citing its sources. Another senior official confirmed to the correspondent of the British government that Russians were interested in the intelligence service, now there are several people in the field of suspicion.

At the moment there is no reliable information on what a passenger of a Moscow flight can be blamed for - delivery of a poisonous substance, its use against Skripale, or other involvement in a crime, the newspaper writes, not excluding the possibility that the people who carried out the poisoning could leave the country for several hours later.

In the Daily Mail it was noted that reports of interest by Julia Skripal's traveling companions on the part of the intelligence services arose immediately after the statements of MP Glenn John, who told the press that he needed to talk with those who flew in the same plane with the daughter of the former colonel of the GRU.

In addition, another fact emerged in the Skrypals case, which is difficult to explain, but it is actively discussed in local media: Sergey Skripal's niece, Victoria reported that the attempt at Salisbury happened a few days after Julia received access to her father's bank account where 150 was located Thousands of pounds sterling received from the sale of the house. This week Victoria is going to come to the UK to visit her uncle, who is in a coma and a cousin.

Regarding questions about the current state of the victim, the girl replied that she “opened her eyes, drinks herself, eats, and even said a few words” (quote).

A group of scientists from Porton Down that near Salisbury, investigating the poisonous substance in the case of the Violins, concluded that it belongs to the category of poisons produced during the Cold War in the USSR and some other countries.

Britain is unwilling to investigate the Salisbury incident in cooperation with Russia. This position was voiced by the representative of the British side in the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. John Foggo stressed that all responsibility for the poisoning of the former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter rests with the Russian state, and in this he was supported by representatives of many countries.

A special meeting of the OPCW, convened at the initiative of the Russian Federation, was held in The Hague today. In Moscow, they already managed to report that they did not receive answers to their questions.
